ABOUT

Systems thinking built over decades.

Blue Meteor IT helps leaders solve complex business and technology problems by understanding how the pieces interact, finding what actually constrains the outcome, and designing a practical strategy for change.

Founder Chuck Norton has spent decades working across infrastructure, operations, cybersecurity, governance, resilience, reporting, automation, and enterprise technology.

The common thread has not been one technology or one discipline. It has been looking at complicated environments, understanding how the parts affect one another, and finding a better way to make the whole system work.

From building systems to deciding what should be built.

Early work centered on infrastructure automation and making technology easier to operate. That expanded into enterprise operations, workflow and reporting automation, cybersecurity, resilience, governance, and large-scale technology initiatives.

The lesson across all of it was consistent. The technical implementation is rarely the hardest part.

The harder questions are usually:

  • What problem are we actually solving?
  • Which constraint matters most?
  • What should change in the operating model?
  • What role should technology play?
  • What should be standardized, integrated, automated, built, or eliminated?
  • How should the organization sequence the change so it can actually succeed?

Blue Meteor exists to answer those questions and turn the answers into an executable strategy.

A capability built over decades

  1. Infrastructure and automation
  2. Enterprise operations
  3. Workflow, reporting, and internal systems
  4. Cybersecurity and resilience
  5. Governance and decision systems
  6. Business and technology strategy

How we think

Understand the whole system.

The visible symptom is not always where the real constraint lives.

Start with the outcome.

A project is not a strategy. Define what needs to change before deciding how to change it.

Use what already works.

Do not replace technology, process, or structure simply because something newer exists.

Remove complexity before adding more.

The best solution may be simplification, not another platform or layer of automation.

Make strategy executable.

A recommendation is only useful if the organization can realistically act on it.
